CD Problem
When I put one of my CD's into my xbox 360 to play it, all of the music was there but it said track 1, 2, 3, etc. and author/album unknown. When I tried my other cd's, the artist, songs, and album all came up. Is it a bad cd?

Just to tell you, the CD has worked in my portable cd player pretty well. Maybe its dusty, or maybe it is ruined. I will check.

The 360 conects to a database via live to give you that information, (like media player or itunes) if its a copied CD the database wont recognize it. However most bought CDs will, its just depends i guess but its not a problem with the CD or anything else as my 360 recognizes some & doesn't others.

I'm not saying XBL hasn't got anything to do with the reading of the discs, but I don't have XBL, and on some discs it reads them, and on some discs it doesn't. Most, but not all store bought discs work. The burned ones I've tried have a lesser frequency of them showing the track titiles. It might have something to do with what program or how they were burned. Or maybe the actual blank CD has something to do with it. I don't know, I'm just not convinced the XBL has anything to do with it.

So, the 360 isn't reading the CD correctly because I don't have Xbox Live? I don't really think that xbox live has anything to do with it, but I am here for suggestions.
