ps2 controller
ok so im thinking about getting tony hawk's project 8, but i dont want to if im gonna have to use a 360 controller for it. i was thinking since the 360 controller input is usb, i could simply get a playstation2-to-usb adapter and use it on my xbox 360. just wondering if this will work. thanks.

It's possible that it could work but there is no doubt in my mind that the shoulder buttons and triggers will be backasswards. If the buttons are numbered differently then that could offset all the others too. My $0.02.

Reason for it not working is because it needs a MS * Stamp * special chip that the 360 needs to reconise ...
Thats why theres not many 3rd party accessories

When I first started playing my 360 it was so hard to control. My last system was an N64, so you can imagine my frustration ("2 joysticks...what it this?" *in a Dane Cooke voice*) I kept trying to reconfigure the controller to be like GoldenEye. I could get it close, but then couldn't use a sniper rifle in the prone position, crazy stuff like that wouldn't work. So I just buckled down and learned the default controls, and today I'm better for it.
