XBOX 360: Sound on my pc's speakers

I have recently learned that the necessary cables to connect your pc to your monitor are included with the Premium Package. But the audio seems to consist of(get ready for tech-speak here!) those red and white cables that you use to connect with standard televisions. Does anyone know what sort of converter I need to connect those audio cables to my pc speakers?

I feel like such a noob.
