Cooling fan buy or not to buy?

Got it for free. I have it on a stereo rack,not the best place. But it did overheat a few times and locked up. Since the fan,not 1 problem. The fan I'm talking about isn't the piece of shit Nyko or whatever.

Well,like I said I got it for free. But it was freezing because of location. So if I HAD to buy,knowing how good this fan is I can say I would buy. I look at it this way. Yeah it can overheat and the M$ warranty would kick in,but since I'd have to pay for shipping and go through all the inconvience of not having my 360,etc. It wouldn't be a bad option. One of the reasons I chose this model was because of the LED screen telling me the exact temps. I also thought about other models and if they sucked,would just return them. Then some of them are being recalled and are just pieces of shit. But how would I actually know the thing was cooling other than the noise? Try it and see if it would overheat? Naw to risky. So I chose the model I did so I can see what it was doing. Works for me and are very happy. so to each his own. Even if I move my 360 to a better location,I still know it will not overheat because its in a bad location,so if it gets moved to a better one,it will be cooler. And afterall,cooler is better!!!
