I'd recommend searching this forum. I believe you will find the general consensus is "waste of money".

The only thing which is "future proof" is DEATH. Did I mention, I absolutely hate the use of the term "future proof".

There are better ways to prevent overheating. If the powerbrick is in a fairly open place you should be fine, you can ever go as far as hanging it up with a nail. The fans are loud and don't do much. You could always try one and return it if you don't like it though.

Got news. Yes some do work. I have an XCM high speed fan with the 3rd add on fan and it works. Before I was good for like 3 straight hours and then it would lock up and overheat. The other day I accidently left 360 on over-night(about 9 hours) and guess what? not lock up or over heating. The XCM stuff works. My temps were the same as first 10 minutes of play as they were for the 9th hour!! XCM has easy to read LCD screen to monitor temps. Sure gotta take off sticker...but that goes back on nicely if you know how. But well worth it to not fry my 360!!

Yeah well it wasn't using the same resources when you left it on overnight. It wasn't playing a game or anything.

this questions been asked a million times lol can't believe people would waste their money on that peice of crap when you could put the money towards a game, the xbox 360 is ok without extra fans, aslong as you have it stood in a sensible place with space and air... (not the bookshelf)
