I dont think either of my two wireless controllers do that but i bought both of them. As for battery drainage i doubt it will do anything seeing i have a atomic clock that works on 2 AA batterys and has been working for well over a year and still has plenty of juice.

same thing happens all over, it doesnt seem to bring the Battery down, so i guess its no problem.

what i do is i take the charger pack off of the wireless controller befor i go to bed.
