Light stays on when controller is off.
I have two wireless controllers. When I turn everything off (the system and the two controllers), One of my remotes turns off. The other one turns off and then the light indicator for #3 (on the remote) lights up dimly. Has anyone else had a similar problem. I don't even have a third controller so I am very confused. It seems to work fine other than that, but I am concerned about it running the battery down. Please Help.

I have a similar problem. one of mine does the same but its the controller 4 light, I only have 2. The light is not as bright as if it was actually powered on.
I have the play and charge kit for both. I thought it was a power indicator but I dont know why it wouldnt do the same on the other controller.. and since I mixed them up I doint know if its the one that came with the console or if its the extra one I bought.
It turns off eventually, but not sure how long. I noticed it did it at some point within a half hour.

i have the same thing. its on the controller with the battery pack from the play n charge. #3 is dimley lit. shouldnt drain power much since they are lit by leds which have very very little power draw.

Boost,
I have 2 controlers and 2 battery packs. This only happens on one.
Is this happening on the controler that came with the console?
I looked at the part #'s on both my controllers, they are the same. I dont understand why it would only happen on one of them.
Oh and as I said previously. controler 4 is lit on mine, but not as bright as if it was in use.

I've tried everything. I've switched battery packs. I've used each one as controller number 1. I've left it alone for days and it is still on. I've called xbox about it and they don't know either. If all of you say that it is not a major power drain then I guess it's alright. I just hate spending so much money on all this stuff for it to do anoying little things like that. I can't help feeling like there's something wrong with it, but returning it is really more of a hassell than living with it.

I've been thinking. Maybe this is some one of telling the controllers apart. I don't know. It's a guess.
