VGA Audio

Hi guys,

I've recieved my new xbox 360 core pack, with a 20GB drive COD2, PGR3 and Fifa, I only have a small tv so i also ordred the official VGA cable fingy with two audio output cable fings, and was wondering what I can hook them up to, my tv has no input for this kind of plug, my pc speakers only have a headphone output, and I have no hifi or external speakers, however I've been told i could plug the audio cables into ym dvd as it has an input, however how would this play on the tv, would it come up a a seperate channel or something with just sound?

Thanks very much for the reply, but still what do I connect the Y-cable gaming adaptor you have recommended up to? and how? sorry im such a noob

Oh ye fink I get you now, like I plug the connecter that would go into the back of my oc from my speakers into th adaptor, right?

R u tryin to play ur xbox thru ur pc monitor bcos thats wot the VGA cable is for, and also new tvs with a VGA input.

The VGA cable connects from the Xbox to ur pc monitor, the red and black cables are for the sound, using the Y-connector, the two cables plug into that then, u can plug ur pc speakers into the otha side.
I think this is correct as i say i dont have a 360, so im not 100% sure.
