MS never made a profit on the original XBOX... and they still aren't but they are making a profit on the 360.. (i'm just talking bout consoles, not games, licensing fee's etc..)

what an extremly silly thing to say, of course they lose money, why do you think they bring out so much pointless crap to plug in, and gay accessories...

..same reason they release 100's of games.
prime example: Core and premium packs, a HDD of 20 gig is around £10, ive just bought a 160Gig Ext. HDD for £54
just think of the money they arew making on the premum package with the HDD alone!
for people who dont buy the premium kit, they endup firstly buying a memory card, which are again making a lot of money on, THEN when they realise hoe shit the memory card is, the purchase a HDD anyways..
research before you comment mate.
