I have this one:

Make/Model: Netgear WGR614 (v6)
Firmware version: 1.0.11_1.0.7
Protocols: 802.11g/b

It works GREAT for Live..> i have an OPEN NAT. I am hardwired, but all of our laptops are wireless and the range is great.

Do you have ADSL or Cable? That's a cable router, so compatible with NTL/Virgin Media, whatever the fuck it is now.

As far as I know the 360 adapter only complies up to the G standard, so buying a a pre-N or N router wouldn't provide any benefit. I suppose you could buy a router with better range and signal strength, although I don't know much about wireless, so I can't really recommend anything.

Is there anyway you can connect the 360 with an ethernet cable? This will provide a superior connection for gaming.
