Thats what I used to think. I had my first one break a year ago and I didn't even do anything to break it, it just stopped working. Then this time I just booted up my 360 and I couldnt hear. |

Just a word of warning, the Plantronics headset breaks just as easy as the MS one.
Im on my 3rd headset. Started with a MS one => Plantronics headset, and now I am back to MS.
There is essentially nothing different between them, apart from the fact that Plantronics charge a premium price.

get the $30 plantronics one. that one is good. the ms one sucks. it just stopped working for me and i have to play with the wire and keep it there to hear people
