Component to hdmi ? Question

Just wondering if the rumours are true, heard a couple of days ago that microsoft are bring out a cable for the 360 that fit into hdmi on your tv set and improves the picture. Anyone know if there is any truth in this surely it will only improve the picture if its hdmi-hdmi (dont know too much about that).

It won't improve the picture that much. Really the best benefits of HDMI are: 1) the fact that it is digital, which MAY improve the picture, and 2) that HDMI carries both audio and video, meaning less cable clutter.

As far as Microsoft releasing an HDMI cable ... hopefully.
