Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter

First off I'd like to say hello as this is my first post on these forums.

Now, to my point. I am planning on buying the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I need a wireless adapter for both my PC desktop and for my 360.

What I am wondering is, can you use the 360 wireless adapter with your PC? If not, what are my other options? Can I buy an adapter that works with both my PC and my 360?

Thanks in advance.

Well i'd say the 360 wireless adapter is worth it, you can't use it with your pc but you can get a wireless adapter (usb) for £10.

Yeah its worth it , it saved me from rewiring my whole house to get live and it usually gives me a good signal even though my routers a floor above it.

Well I will be moving into a place next month that only has WiFi so I have to get a wireless adapter for my PC desktop and 360.

So you're saying that the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter definitely works on an ordinary PC? All I need to do is to plug the USB cable into the back of my case and I'm set?
