X1 headset really brings out ambient sounds

I know this is a little bit older thread, but i wanted to give my 2 cents.

I'm a big fan of Turtle Beach; they make great stuff. I (currently) use the X2, which is 365413654 times better than the headset your xbox ships with. I've found that the left speaker on my X2 goes in and out, putting out sound only intermittantly, but i transport my xbox and all it's goodies from my dorm to my house several times a week, so thats probably why. The only thing I didn't like from the get-go was the size of the transmitter. its nice that it holds your headset, too, but i didn't really need that.

I just ordered the X3, which i'm really looking forward to. i bought it beacuse i really wanted to take advantage of that surround sound, which i'm not always getting with my X2, and the X3 has a smaller transmitter.
