This seems as if it would suffocate your ears. Playing for a large amount of time might become uncomfortable, is this true?

That was my biggest concern, they seem heavy to have on for 2+ Hours.

Regarding wearing them for hours: probably the longest session I have done is 3 hours at a stretch with the X1. My only complaint was slightly sweaty ears after a few hours - but no discomfort at all. They are very well padded. (and, well, if you're going out of the house afterward, the top padded strap of the headphones can give you some serious 'headphone hair' - you might need to grab a hat!!)

The only thing I don't like about it is the cord, but you can certainly get used to that for what you get out of the headphones.
Do both the X1's and X2's have the RCA output pass-through adapter that one of the other posters was talking about? In other words, can I plug the turtle beach connector into the RCA inputs on my tv, then plug both my Xbox audio input and headphones output into the turtle beach connector so i can switch between TV and headphones? Thanks!

Hey Roostking,

Yes, the X1 has pass through connectors for the red/white RCA audio. So you don't have to switch anything. Just keep your TV volume turned down when using the headphones, and turn the TV back up when you take the headphones off. It works great. I am pretty sure the X2 and X3 have the same audio connector design.

OH man. I played CoD4 into the wee hours of Saturday morning with these babies on and boy does it sound GREAT! The quality of these things still amazes me.
