Threads like this make the whole forum worth the effort. It revealed to me the magic of turtle beach headphones and after receiving the X1 me (and my family) can enjoy late nite gaming!!! As for the X4 if and when it comes out... count me in cause the voice feedback is the only drawback. Other than that I vote the X series best XBOX360 auxiliaries EVER.

I have had the X2's for a year. I love them. They work so well in college. I share my dorm and when I wanted to play my xbox late night or watch a movie while my roommate was snoozing, I could have my audio still on because of the X2.

They are expensive headsets, but well worth the money if your in that sort of situation.

The turtle beach headset isnt just for the xbox either, you can use them for anything that uses composite red and white audio.

i've had the X2's for a while, but it fell apart after a while because i traveled with it a lot. i replaced it with the X3 (beacuse they dont make the X2 anymore, obv.) and i absolutely love it. the transmitter is nice and small, and it does a good job as far a distance from the transmitter to the headset. great sound quality and really comfortable on the ears.

if you're worried about price, i got mine on ebay (open item) for around $50 + shipping. i HIGHLY recommend them!

I just got some x1's and I must say this is the best sound ever, I dotn have to worry about volumes or anything, the only problem is the whiny pre teens on live talk about pointless stuff and then I cant hear other things aswell. but that is by no means turtle beaches problem.

I have reffered so many people to Turtle Beach man, they should incorporate some sorta refferal system, a free headset for every 4 people I reffer.

hey guys, i have a pair of the x3s is there a way to get them working using a hdmi cable? thats how i have my 360 hooked up but i had to switch back to the comp cables when i got the x3s. btw the x3s are the best thing!! no more nagging wife

Xbox 360 Premium - HDMI Cable / Digital Optical Adapter Hack

I've just bought some X3's on eBay from the US 'New in open packaging' just waiting for them to arrive.

If you think $100 is bad, try the UK price $140 plus you need a plug adapter. I paid $44

Someone said the voice transmission would be poor down to the wireless but the X3's don't have wireless voice.. no more so than the standard 360 headset as they plug into the 360 controller. Audio output is via IR though.
I need these as i'm sick of wearing wired headphones AND a wired headset!
Why MS didn't have an audio output on the controller I don't know..
