Turtle Beach Headset
Okay I'm tired of dealing with battery issues, sound quality, static, echoes, wires etc.
I've been looking for a new headset and a friend of mine recommended the Turtle beach X1-X3
Can anyone gimme an insider opinion of what they think? Is it really worth THAT much money?
I'm thinking about buying it off ebay as I really don't want to buy a $100 dollar one
If not can anyone recommend another good brand?

Yes, but i need an insiders opinion on the X3 and X2, the difference nad if its worth the price difference

If you look around you can get one in the 60 dollar range.

I personally only know one friend with the X3, and he likes it a lot. But I constantly have to ask him to repeat what he is saying. So he is hearing everything great in his ears, but his voice transmission is pretty poor over the wireless. He never asks me to repeat what I've said from the X1 side of things.
Anyway, if you want to ask him more questions you can PM BaldredSC. I don't know anyone with the X2...

I know of ALOT of people who have bought the x1 instead of x3 (in uk)
Mainly the price, but does it really matter to you if its wired or wireless. For half the price to cut off wires, id say i wouldnt mind.
They are both simalar products. Just you have to charge 1 up, where as the wired is powered via xbox 360 usb

The X3's are wireless.
The X3's have a 'Bass Boost' which basicly improves the clarity even further.
The X3's have a improved mic, higher quality sound.
The X3's have a cool flashing red light on the side, which looks cool in the dark.
The X3's are sexier.
The X3's cost more.
I love my X3's though. <3

the x1s dont have th efeedback support. so while in game u cant hear urself talk and u tend to get loud. best bet. wait it out until the summer when the x4's come out
