I wouldnt use that one. I wouldnt recomend wireless to anyone. Hard wire it if possible. But to answer your question, if you dont want to use the $100 xbox one, uase a linksis one. They are a lot cheaper and I thnk are the only compatable ones.

No guarentee on how well they work though.
Good luck

thats only for Xbox bro.. and I was in ur situation about 4 months ago.. I bought sum offbrand router and spent like 6 hours one sunday tryin to figure how to set it up on customer service only to talk to an xboxlive rep who said that no other router but the microsoft one works for the 360?..

It's worth it to get the microsoft one I think.. especially if u get it used.. i got mineused for 65.. or I would just run the Cord thru the house.. .. u can get the cord in bulk at the home depot for ike 22 cents a foot..

Zeus,

Read through the user reviews at Amazon.com for this item - many users posted being able to make this one work for the 360 by following certain steps that they spell out for you. If you do get it running you should post back to let others know it works.

What you can also do is use ANY Linksys, Dlink, Trendnet, or any other brand, Access point. Some of them are even specifically made for Xbox 360. What they do is they plug into the ethernet port on the back of your console, then it the cable goes to a little box, with an antennae, that acts like a wireless bridge to your router. These things cost around $50. plus or minus $20, i've seen some for 30 some for 70. I use a trendnet TEW-430ABP, it takes few minutes to cinfigure but then you get a <$50 solution to wireless for your xbox.

Newegg.com - TRENDnet TEW-430APB 54Mbps 802.11g Wireless Access Point - Retail

any other wireless access point should work as well.

ill have to see when i get my 360

I'd rather just use wired than fiddle about with wireless adapters. I tried using my laptop as a wireless bridge between my 360 and router, it kind of worked but I couldnt get into any games online. There are various youtube videos showing how it can be done, it didnt work for me but I suppose its worth a try for anyone wanting wireless. I recommend creating a restore point before you mess about with it though.
