Controller warrenty

im wondering if The xbox360 wireless controller that came with my xbox360 console is covered under a warranty?

The reason I ask is that the left bumper button is broken. It works but no longer clicks and gives any feedback so it does not feel right to press. The right bumper button is fine.

When i brought mine from GAME the chap said that i have a year on any piece of the 360 headset/controller/cables anything for 1 year.

Depends on where you got yours from though.

Like what meatball said.. I bought mine from GAME.. also with a 2 year warranty.. Everything from controller to headset to case is covered.. T.b.h i'm waiting for something to happen so i can actually use the warranty.. Ha. Where did you get it from and did you buy a warranty? 'Cos if you bought a newer console Microsoft no longer give the warrantys.

my m8 has claimed a couple of new controllers by just ringing up microsoft and telling them the controller doesnt work. apparently they just send you a new one

yeah,a couple of my xbox m8`s have done this,they said that when inserted the batteries the controller doesnt work and that they`ve try them in another controller and it worked and tryed other battries but the controller still didnt work,then they got one throught the post,theve done this a few times what they said.

I bought it from tesco's quite a long time ago. I will give microsoft a call and see if they will do anything.
