How can i stop the freezing?

When i turn on my console to play a game I can only get 5 minutes play time and then the image on my TV just pauses.

I didn't do anything to my 360, it just decided to start doing this and im not sure what to do.

Has it got proper ventilation?
Have you tried another TV/cables?

If those dont solve it then phone M$

That means you're getting to the point where it will get RROD. If you're under warranty, send it in for repair/replacement. If it's not under warranty, sell it or fix it using the X-clamp method.

well i just set it out on the middle of my floor to get better vent and i had just recently bought new tv/cables cause my other broke

and what exactly is the xclamp method?

I have the same problem, at least it sounds like the same thing but I got a pretty new model and I have it for little over a month. I doubt it is first sign of RROD, I personally think it is the lens of the DVD drive or something close to that.
