Wireless racing wheel won't drive straight

Hello,

My first post here on the forum so hello to everyone. I hope you can help me.
I've recently bought the wireless racing wheel and am playing Forza 2. The problem is that the wheel is not properly centred - i.e. to drive straight, the wheel is turned to the left. So far I cannot find an way of setting up the wheel to correct this.

The instructins for setting up the wheel say to insert the setup disc and follow the instructions. The disc supplied has a demo of Forza 2 on it but does not seem to do anything other than this. Should I have a different disc or is there a menu somewhere for me to set the wheel up manually?

Thanks.

Have you been drinking? That would contribute to the problem.....

There should be a calibration thing in the game from memory.

Not the booze I'm afraid.
The callibration thing in the game doesn't seem to have a way of setting the centrepoint of the wheel - but thanks anyway.

Maybe I should start drinking whilst I drive and I'll notice it less.

The wheel is turned to the left as soon as the console is turned on. Think I'll go back to the shop.

btw - Anyone know someone with one of these wheels? I'd like to know what set up disc came with their wheel.

btw - other than that I'd recommend the wheel. I have the same sort of thing for the PS2 (Logitech) and this one feels far more solid. Shame mine seems to be faulty.

A friend of mine had this problem, he had to rent pgr3 to get the drivers for all the other racing games. Hope this helps.

Took mine back in the end. Seems it was just nackered after all. Thanks for the advice.

For anyone who likes racing games the wheel is the best. I recommend a few hours in the shed with a hammer and nails and some wood and an old car seat from a scrappy and you're ready to race.
