Problem with Plug and Play?
A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a USB Plug and Play Charger Kit. Upon receiving it, I inserted the battery pack and got 10 mins in before it died (ok, so the pack wasn't charged), simple solution, plug the cable in. So plugged the cable into the controller and the USB end into the 360.
10 mins later, the light changed from red to green (indicating it was fully charged), so I removed the cable and went back to wireless (though I did think the short charging time was a little bizarre), sure as anything, 10 mins in, the controller died. I then charged it for 4 hours, got 30 mins in and the controller died again - so contacted the seller and got a replacement pack and cable.
Received this last night and charged the pack as soon as I took it out of the pack, it was done in 2 mins, I got 30 mins into a game and pack was already down to 50%, I charged it again, it charged for 10 mins then turned green. This time I got 2 hours out of it and when I checked the guide button, the battery was down to 1 bar.
At 1 bar after 2 hours, there is no way this thing could last another 16 hours (it is rated at 18 hours max game play when charged). So charged it, it charged for 40 mins then turned green. I haven't tried it again today, but doubt it will last much longer then 3 hours.
What I want to know is, why is my kit taking 40 mins max when it is supposed to take 3 hours+ and why is it lasting 2 hours when it is rated for 18 hours?
