Wireless headset broken...
My wireless head just stopped working all of a sudden, I plugged it in to charge it and none of the lights would come on, so i try to turn it on by itself and it won't turn on. This happen to anyone? Should I give MS a call and get them to replace it, i ve had this headset since september.

Well I have two wireless headsets. The first one broke so we got a new one and then that one broke so we called up microsoft and they replaced both of them. I would give calling them a shot and see if they will replace it.

same thing happened to me, i used it one night, came home the next day after work and tried to use it and it wouldnt work, figured i left it on so i tried charging it and it wouldnt charge either......i called MS and they said they wouldnt replace it without the receipt from where i purchased it....so unless you have that, good luck
since mine doesnt work and they wont replace it i might just try and open it up and see if something has come loose or whatever

lol wow the headsets are as poorly made as the first batch of 360s. i was thinking of getting a wireless one untill this thread came up,lol. ill go with the wired one, its not that much of a hasstle really. i say if MS wont replace it then just go and buy the $20 wired one or get the chat pack, it comes with the wired one and a typing pad for msn and messaging. i also feel that i play better with the chat pad on the controller, idk y tho.

note: do not attempt to open wireless headset
i tried doing it earlier, only thing thin enough to even try to pry it open was a razor blade, well i finally got it but then the blade broke so i used a screw driver since i had more room to get it in there and then i hit something inside and it started smoking and smelling like ass....and just for the record, when i say ass, i dont literally mean ass.....it just plain stinks

damn MS says they won't replace it, only a 90 day warranty, i had it since october, this pisses me off, this thing cost $60 and they won't even try to fix it. I hate using the wired one, ohh well, yeah i was gonna attempt to open it, but i guess not...

and who wants to spend $100 on a wireless headset
microsoft just needs to get bluetooth incorporated into the system so there is a larger selection of wireless headsets that can be used
