how do u know its the intercooler causing the red rings? i've got the red rings because i didnt use an intercooler, and my xbox would get hot as hell. it bugs me whne ppl say "i put an intercooler on and got the red rings" because nobody knows how the rings come, its just a design flaw that will show its ugly face sooner or later

I havent had any experience with the newer models but I had one of the olders ones and it caused my console to rrod twice. Solution was taking it off. The piece of shit fans were vibrating so hard that my screen was fuzzy looking and it would trigger the xbox to rrod. I dont really care if they made a "new and improved" model there first one was absolute shit and im not trusting them ever again. Complete garbage and not really needed anyways.

i use the intercooler{the newer model} and when i had it connected to my 360,it made my power brick extremely hot-too hot to touch so i decided to put the intercooler on a different power source and ever since it works great. i also have a laptop cooler under my 360{no fans}and that helps as well. if u use the intercooler put it on another power source.

The intercooler is the stupidest thing on the face of the planet.

It puts fans right on top of the 360 fans

think of putting two fans right next to each other. It won't do anything accept make a lot of noise.

it is a tad noisy but heat gets sucked out-that's why i use it.

It should be fine, I had one of these but I returned it. I don't see why you would want one because they are loud as SH!T! It makes your console about twice as loud and it really doesn't do much. Just take it off if you get the red rings.
