Sound with VGA Cable
So I bought myself an official 360 VGA cable as I heard its better than running through component.
Problem is, I can get picture (is definitely better), but I can't get sound.
I have connected the red and white audio connectors to the same sockets I used when running through component, is this right?
I'm thinking it might just be a crappy cable (beginning to see a pattern with Microsoft products)

Your VGA will be known as a PC on your TV, you have to change the source where to sound comes through.

When you went via component cables, you might have selected something on your tv like the Comp1 input.
Of course, now that you have switched to VGA...your VGA input is a different input. It's possible that this input does not have any sound inputs associated with it. I've seen TV's like this. But look for red/white audio input jacks associated with that VGA input.

My TV is a Samsung LE37R88BDX.
There aren't any audio jacks by the VGA input (they're either on the Side AV or the component inputs)
I'll have a play around Tonight, might it just be a case of assigning audio inputs to the VGA?

Well I went out and bought an optical audio cable, connected it to the VGA cable and TV and guess what?
IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK!!!
