Using a keyboard and mouse for XBOX360 games?
Hey guys,
I'm actually a pc gamer but it sucks upgrading every year to a new graphics card or cpu to play the latest games. That's why I am interested in buying a XBOX360 (maybe with bluray drive).
But the thing what kept me playing on my computer is that I can use keyboard and mouse instead of just a kind of joystick. I play games like call of duty 4, rainbow six vegas 2, UT3, Doom 3, Quake 4 etc. And there is no way for me to play those games with a joystick like the XBOX360 game controller.
I was wondering if there is a way to connect my keyboard and mouse to play xbox titles like COD4, vegas2 etc? If this would be possible I would immediately drop out to the next best buy
Otherwise I need to wait for the new nvidia graphics adapter GT280 which is approximately about $500
Any advice for me? Thanks!

Is there a BlueRay drive for xbox360?
I think you mean HD-DVD drive, and if I were you i wouldnt buy it, cause HD-DVD is dead, Blue Ray was the format chosen to be used from now on.
Now about mouse and keyboar, i think you can use them, but unfortunately not with games, only for typing i guess.
But in time you will get used to de controller and you will not be able to change to the mouse/keyboard again. I speak for self experience. I was just like you, i always said that wouldnt change keyboard/mouse for nothing, but now i guess that its just a matter of habit. Im very confortable with it now.

If you want mouse and keyboard then stick to the pc.

alright, thanks for the information. I heard about news that microsoft is going to release a new xbox version having a bluray drive. maybe that's just a rumor. but it would be great because it would keep everybody away buying a PS3. because at the moment, just compare the games, there is no reason to buy a PS3 except of having a bluray player...

You need to buy an adapter called xcm xfps and you need a wired 360 control pad. A link to a video of it in action is below but I can't post links so you have to copy/paste it.
