No. You are allowed to put faceplates on they just tell you to put the default faceplate back on when you are sending it in for repair.

You can actually put no faceplate on and most of the time they will send it back with a regular white one. So its like getting one free. Its not that great because its a regular one but it feels good sticking it to the man.

I was mistaken. It not a face plate. It's more of a skinz cover that fits the front, top and both sides. It is black and gray with outlines of Liberty City and GTA IV and Rock Star graphics. How do I post pics??

Upload them here:
ImageShack® - Image Hosting
Then copy the link it gives you into the insert image feature.(when creating a post)
