i have the halo 2 one. it looks awkward with the rest of the console. if you buy a faceplate, you should probably buy a whole new case for the xbox

well the one i have is a halo 2 one and it fits perfectally. i guess it varys from brand to brand. idk what brand it is.

Depending on the quality and design, it should be fine.. and it shouldn't void the warranty.. but recommendation is to get one that you like.. (something thats doesn't shout that loud) so it doesn't get boring or just looks bad after a while.... my recommendation is to go for it...

I got the silver MS one and its sweet, doesnt look too oddly different than the white rest of the of the console and its bling

Iv just got one of the aftermarket ones Microsoft sell. It is white with some yellow pattern. Nothing special but it looks good to me.

You could always just take off the faceplate and paint something yourself if you have something simple, or take a little time and mod your entire console for a wicked cool console all together.
