plug and play charger wont work

hey everyone

i bought a plug and play xbox controller charger and it has been working for a few days, but now it isn't working anymore once i plugged it into my computer. to see if it would work when i play my computer games.

When i plug it into my xbox now the red light turns on but the controller wont turn on there is just the red light on the charger. I tried to uninstall the drivers and play around with setting on the computer but it wont do anything.

Ya the Play N charge kits seem to short out when used with the PC. I have killed 2 cords by charging it with my PC.

i tried it once, it worked, but not i am just charging it offa my 360 after getting a USB hub.
