wired control
Not sure but how would the wired controls fit into the xbox? from the front of it i can't see any kind of connections for it...

Since the controllers are now USB, the end of it isn't so big and bulky so one can now fit 4 wired controllers into a tight space at the bottom of the console as shown below.

how many usb ports does it have altogether? And another usb related question, could you charge an ipod of the 360?

the wireless contoller charges via the usb port. so im guessing that any usb charging device could do the same thing. also the 360 has 3 usb ports. there is a flip down window near the botom of the console. i think there is only 2 ports for wired controllers though.

According to the interviews a while back you can have any combination of either wired or wireless controllers up to 4. So i'm guessing that their are 4 USB on the front and i know that there is at least 1 at the back for webcam or wireless ethernet adaptor.

dude this is totally old news... hello!!! there are 2 usb ports on the front bottom hidden by a push in cover. there is one on the back. the one on the back is for the wireless doggle or ipod moslty.... to hide wires and the wireless doggle but can be used for a third controller. Also yes your ipod will charge while connected to the xbox360.

no.. there is only 2 wired ports, you can only use 2 wired controllers- STRAIGHT FROM XBOX MAGAZINE

Yer there are definately 2 USB slots on the front and i know that there is at least one back, probably 2 for plugging in your wireless adaptor for the internet and your webcam for video conferences or whatever.
