Question about Turtle Beach headsets
How do these hook up? I was wondering because I was thinking of getting a pair, maybe just the X1's but didn't know if they would work for what I wanted to use them for. Can these be used for listening to the TV wirelessly without having the XBOX on? Like say I'm just watching TV or a movie, is there a way I can hook them up to that audio source?

The X1's are wired, the X3's are wireless they plug into the red and white audio output on the back of your TV. The X4's can be hooked up the same way or you can use an optical cable for 5.1 surround.

If your TV has either a headphone jack or a audio out (Red and White female composite) then you can.
The X1's have a Both but the X3's only have the red and white cable.
For the extra money the X3's have Bass boost and are Wireless. I've got the X3s and can't fault them. |

So since you guys have them, could you try them out the way I want to use them and see if you can listen to the sound of regular TV

If you set it up how i said, you can. I've used them on my 360 and PS3. Not tried them via my sky box but if they work on both machines without having to change it i'm most certain it will work.

i MIGHT possibly be able to get the X2's if i can find them cheap enough
