xbox hard drive removal of data

i have a 20gb hard drive for sale on ebay and someone has asked me how much is free on it.

i had bought a 60gb and i just unclicked the 20 off and put the 60 on and didnt do anything with the 20gb.

will any data still be on it? is it safe to put it back on my xbox and delete any stuff thats on it. would my bank details be on it?

the data will probably still be on it if you havent done anything.

I would format the hard drive. that will erase everything on it
