xbox 360 warranty question

if you get rrod and get a replacement, i heard you only have 9 months on the repaired console before your warranty completely runs out. is this true?

not true, i've had a replacement with still 2 years left on my warranty, and then had to replace it again right before my 2 years expired. Had no problem at all.

I had my out of warranty console replaced due to RROD and the refurb came back with a 90 day warranty on it, which expired yesterday.
