Xbox 360 and PS3 Hardware sales jump last week amid price cuts, both beat the Wii

I'm amazed that PS3's are only selling a fraction more than the Xbox360 as they have brought out the PS3 Slim? I thought a lot more people would be going out to buy one

Really shows that the 360 is losing steam as well, in terms of new owners. The PS3 has only jumped 16% over last year, while the 360 needed a price cut, to achieve the same number and a 50% jump over last year

I didn't want to start ANOTHER vs thread, i just wanted to show that the price cuts are doing both consoles favours.

The Elite has already dropped town to £200, just £20 more than the Wii that has remained at £180 since launch. PS3 is currently at £250, considering it started at £425 its a pretty good deal now.

Surprises me that people haven't stopped getting the Wii. I mean ok I like the hardware.... pretty even I agree with the above that the ps3 is perplexing me with relatively low numbers...

I believe with the ps3 slim being out, that it will boost the ps3 sales alot, considering its only 299, the xbox however is really slowing down

Those number is really close though. imo the Wii hasnt had a good game come out... uhh in 09 really and it is only 1700 behind. I think xbox is maintaining its higher number cause of all those RRoD victims.
