Microsoft say my warranty has expired

When It clearly hasnt. I got my xbox in 2007 and i should have another year left on it.

My xbox recently broke and when i tried to register it on the xbox website it said my xbox warranty had expired.

Does anybody know what I can do?

check under the 3rrod see if it shows up free. when you register it it'll say out of warranty and show up red because the standard warranty has run out..when you fill out your form to so whats wrong with i you should be able to put the 3rrod and E74 erro in and having your total repair cost come to $0

Do they check if its the RROD? cause my xbox didnt break cause of that, it broke cause my screen freezes all the time.

well the microsoft standard warranty is only a year so it is exspired you can probably make it red ring by towel tricking it then send it in or try and say it has rrod and sometimes they wont even check and they'll send you a replacment console... hope i cleared things up for you

They won't check every console that comes in for repairs, it's wasted time. Companies hate wasted time.

Say it has RROD, free fix.

The Console comes with a standard 1 year manufacturers warranty.
The console is only covered for 3 years against the RROD - nothing else.

They do check it because they need to know what is wrong so they can fix it and give it to the next 3ROD victim. I am sure they check all the consoles because this is Microsoft and they will do anything for the money.

That's a contradiction. If they check, they waste worker's time. Wasted time means wasted money. Loads of people have sent their Xbox and said it had RROD when it had E-74 (before it was covered), a faulty DVD drive, etc. No one I know of has ever had an issue.
