E07 I concur - Probably the thermal paste failing.

But you remember the fail rate issue I finally found where it was posted and my memory just doesnt serve me as well as it once did... here is the quote

Well the problem might be that this is the second xbox I have gotten from ebay the first one died with the original RRoD the guy I bought it from replaced it free of charge. So i have no idea how old the console is, and it may just be that he is just selling crappy stuff
