Xbox 360 Third Party Memory Unit Lockout - Memory Unit Not detected

Hello,

As part of the latest update to the 360 dashboard, Microsoft will be locking third party memory units so they won't work with 360. Because I had installed the dashboard on that drive it is not longer recognized. But that is not the major problem, the problem is that the XBOX is not booting anymore. It gives the error : Memory Unit Not detected. Placing the original memory unit and pushing the sync button during start up did not solve the problem. Also tried to boot with an CD with the update to restore it on the old unit was unsuccessful.

Anybody solved this problem?

Microsoft picked up the Xbox and is going to repair it. And now we will wait.
