i got nothing special...just a 32 inch tv with a few shelves below it with my 360 on one of them

Laptop helps to keep the 360 warm. It's a nice touch. Are you running an Interooler on the back of the 360??

My Lovely Setup
The TV might be only 21" but if gives very nice colors... also i have a creative 5.1 connected to the console by Logitech Game console adapter Which doesn't give surround sound but it make all the speakers work with awsome sound...
The console is place separatly on a table to give it good air.. Have a look
