Scratched CD
Just bought xbox360 and NCAA 07 less than a week ago. I was playing today and the game froze, so i look at the back of the CD and theres a HUGE scratch in a perfect circle around the disc, there is also a bunch of other scratches on the disc. Is the xbox360 known for messing up games? I heard alot of bad things about this system but decided to buy it anyway, I am really regretting it. And i did not switch the system from horizontal to vertical. It was horizontal the whole time.

If it's in a circle, then obviously it is from the system...
I don't have any suggestions though, sorry.

I bought a disk that I apparently scratched in my 360. I was fortunate in that the store exchanged it without question.
If the 360 accidently is bumbped or moved during gameplay, you are almost gaurantee a ruined disk

The toothpaste fills in the scratches, and the laser overlooks it... It's ridiculous but it works.

Disclaimer: Don't do this on my word. Do this at your own risk. The only experience I have with the toothpaste is with NFL 2K1 for the Dreamcast a long time ago. I've never had a non-working disc since then...
