I think i definate buy for you would be Call of Duty 2 since you like FPS. I havent played many racing games on the 360 so i wouldnt know there. I suggest buying your 360 from an Electronics store, not ebay. Well, everything else has already been covered pretty much.

I don't agree with PGR3 being better than TDU. I own both, and while PGR3 has (slightly) more realistic handling and physics, TDU is just way more fun, and the handling isn't enough for you to get upset about. Mostly the cars do what you'd expect them to do in real life.

I wouldn't recommend buying the console from Ebay. A lot of launch consoles had some real issues, and there's no garantee you won't get a launch console with some issues. At least if you buy a 2005 console you get free repairs, but I still wouldn't go for one.

Gonzo with that cash go for a surround sound setup and a tv. That will be key. New games are coming out shortly that you can wait for
such as halo and a few others.

problem is $1000 won't even get a semi-decent television, let alone a nice stereo system. my tele was 2800 and my surround another 800. add on the 500 for the 360 plus couple games and your talkin serious cash.

i would go get a 360, extra controller, controller charger, rent 5 or 6 games for a week, then go buy the games you really like. just save a little cash for 2007. there will be some sick games coming out your not gonna want to miss.

Thanks everyone! I got a 360 from C0sstco. Package deal with 2 wireless controllers, 20 gig HD and PGR3. I also got Madden07, my wife is currently playing PGR3 and loving it....she's been on it more than me! argh!

I wired a network cable from my router to the 360 and am able to listen to music and look at pictures.

How do I watch videos I have on my PC through the 360? I downloaded net framework, windows media connect is active, the 360 is shared...I thought you could view videos, am I wrong here?

Congrats on getting ur 360. The 360 will only play videos download from xbox marketplace or if you have Media centre installed on your pc you can stream wmv movies to your 360. unfortuantly this is not possible if you just have xp installed. hope this helps.. also must get game has to be Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

Ok thanks again. I will go get Recon today. And to the poster who asked about getting a good surround setup.

I have a 5.1 surround system in my living room hooked to a 51" High Def Hitachi TV. The 360 in HD looks sweet on 1080i, I really love it. The sound and graphics quality of this console is amazing, I'm very pleased with the money I put into the system.
