Unreliable Console

I was planning on buying a 360 in the next few weeks but Ive heard alot about them being unreliable and a new chip version being released. I havent got too much money being a student so im wondering is there much of a chance and are there many problems with the consoles? Any one explain...

some are bad some are good I have a good one with no problems at the time. I am ok with with my console but I have found that alot of the games for the 360 SUCK. So if you get one it will probualy work but you never know.

Its making me start to look at getting the Wii first (which I was gonna get after christmas), It sucks you cant get a working console guarenteed.

I am also planning to get wii first, play legend of zelda, legend of zelda, legend of zelda, and another legend of zelda then buy xbox 360 when it's actually safe to play

if i beat 4 legend of zelda too quickly, then i will just download super mario world 1 and 2 and wait for 3rd wave of xbox 360

Heard so many storys about it though. Makes you unsure. I dont want to buy an xbox and then have it fuck up a couple a years later. Im looking to the Wii because Nintendos systems have always been good. Mostly anyones Snes n64's etc still work great.

But I don't like wii becuz u need to switch AAA battery every week or in 3 days sometimes.

You can Charge them though so thats ok - just charge while you aint playing is what ill do

they r not selling chargers unlike xbox 360 and ps3 do.

Nice to see some Wii love.

However, don't let the horror stories scare you. I've had my 360 since launch day and it's never skipped a beat.
