xbox 360 ?

i was just wondering if any one knew how many consoles the 360 sold to date.cant seem to find a recent amount

I was wondering the same thing.. I don't think they would have the up to date version.. Probably by quarter.. You probably would need to look at Microsoft's financial statements..

Not to sure how accurate that is but if u click on sales in the contents menu it shows 5 million as of 30 june 2006 and has some quarter figures to. But yeh sure how reliable that is. But in references it has links to balance sheets from microsoft so yeh

seems to be pretty accurate.. Since there was a shortage of 360's at launch and the fact that most consoles are sold during the holiday seeasons that number might double after this holiday.. We'll see how it goes..
