Question about over heating
Ok, so my xbox is for xmas, and i will more than likely be on it all day other than when im havin dinner,but my question is this; What do you recomend to stop it over heating? Maybe 5 hours on, 1 hour off etc?

I doubt you will have any problem but I wouldn't play for more than 6 hrs straight anyways, just to give myself a break

I have mine on almost constantly, its become my media center, heh. I just give it room to blow air out the back. No problems so far and I keep the heat on so its like a sauna in here. Just make sure its on a flat surface and not your bed ;x

never had a problem and mine sits directly above a rotel 1000watt amp that power my home theater and throws enough heat to warm a small room.

it really doesnt get nearly as hot as people say. all of my other devices ie. stereo, PVR, computer get a lot hotter than the xbox 360.

i was worried about opening my 360 on christmas day and it not working so anyway i tested it out for around 48 hours not stop! when i went to sleep i left it on downloading nfs demo and not once did it crash!
