My original Xbox freezes constantly now. ..

Never did this before but now I can't even get through 10 minutes of play without it freezing, and it freezes momentarily for about 3-10 seconds every few minutes during play. Very annoying. I've basically put it up for good. It seems to only do it when playing Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood. My other two games (madden and Hitman 2) don't do it.

I beat the first BIA game without a single freeze so what the fck? Has anyone else had this problem? It has made me change my mind about the 360 because it seems to be doing the same thing. I'm not sure I want to buy one. The frustration of having it freeze up at crucial parts or totally shut down right when I'm about to beat a level is enough to give me a fckn coronary and if the 360 does the same thing I'll go insane with rage.

1. Ventilation is excellent and the unit is barely warm
2. I just cleaned the laser before playing
3. Cable connections are all fine

I might take it apart and see if something is loose or dirty.

LOL no I'm talking about my original Xbox, not the 360. It's like 4 years old.
