New Cooling Method!
it seems like the 360 is just a prototype. it really is shamefull that we, the abused the consumer, is required to buy a hddvd drive, cooling methods to stop the thing from melting and wi-fi which should have been built in!!!!!

HD-DVD won't be used for games, but for the people that really wan't to watch HD-DVD movies only, it is for them.
Cooling? Mine hasn't had a problem ever since launch. I think you are really falling into rumors. I take it that you don't have a 360 yet.
WiFi should have been built it, but w/e at least we can up grade to Wireless N when it comes out this year.
The PS3 won't be able to since it will be built in with a Wireless G receptor.

What are you broke as hell? You can't pay $20 bucks to fix a mistake that Microsoft made? I mean it's not our fault that it heats up but still they are trying to fix their mistake and it is very cheap. So why complain? Yeah and HD DVD will not be used for games so why complain there either?

Well...a console costing 300gbp should be devoid of mistakes. i cant believe that a cooling system is needed to stop some 360s from malfunctioning. it's not the fact that its 20usd that annoys me, its just that the 360's pseudonym should be 'Defunct Out Dated Technology'. its 2006, and the biggest computer company can't even get a console right. there are many more errors than the few more commonly heard ones.

It seems neat. I will probably pick one up. It isnt that I dont trust Microsoft, its just that my 360 is my baby. I wouldnt want to risk it.

Now there is a nice way to put some money in your pocket. Take advantage of another company's mistake. I just wish I would have thought of it.

Microsoft is not a COMPUTER company it's a SOFTWARE company. They are bound to make some mistakes when they don't have alot of experience making hardware. It's good that they are at least making it up to the customers with this new thing.
