ul be able to buy the xbox360 graphics card in a few months, because microsoft told ATI that they could use the stuff they found out in r&d (for making their videocard) they could use in their other products, meaning theyl hav a kikass video card in a couple of months or even weeks

Well Hooligan, I've got a little game called far cry that I run maxed out on a low end computer, and the xbox has nothing on the graphics of this game, I max it out on 1280x1024 and it makes call of duty and perfect dark look like playstation negative 2. So c'mon now consoles will never have thhe edge on pc as far as gaming goes.

By the way Far Cry is a few years old as well

WHen it comes to the GPU, i'm positive that the Xbox has the better one this generation. The PS3 will probably have a 7800Gtx slapped into it.

i also have farcry , and it's a good game but nothing compared to condemned or cod2, it only looks good cause it has hdr, big deal, most games have hdr now. and the water looks very nice, but anything could run that game. because it's not next generation all the way.

yea ati will have something like the xbox 360 vid card but it won't be their next card, their next card is going to be similar to the current ati x1800xt. it will not feature a unified shader pipeline, and a pc vid card will never feature 10MB embedded ram.

also this card blows anything away and could render farcry, at 1900x1600 resolution, with high details, high aa, and everything enabled without fps drops, a pc to do that would cost around 3000-5000 bucks.

also they won't be making pc games that take advantage of all that new available graphics card power, because delvelopers for pc make games for people still using older pc's as well as the new, so they will always be behind, maybe not in hardware but in software quality. so mostly the amazing new graphics to come will first be available on the xbox360

also i'm not sure if the next pc cards will run on dx10
but xbox 360 is already a direct x10 card.

i was a pc gamer all the way and used to upgrade my pc every couple of months, but since i got the xbox i'm not planing to upgrade for a while

xbox trully is next generation, and we still didn't see a dx10 game on it yet, but the best thing about it it's so damn fun to play, especailly xbox live, and the wide array of different style games is just kickass, something the pc doesn't offer much.

the rsx is not as good of a gpu, although it does have 7 cores it has very little bandwith when compared to the ATI card that the 360 uses. when people found out that the rsx was about the same as 2 of the nvidia 6800 cards, they became weary of the PS3s power. just like sony hyped up their "emotion engine" in the ps2. it turned out to be not anywhere near as powerful as projected.

Kind of wish that half-life2 was on the 360 and not on the xbox that game would of been a system seller considering how great that game was on the PC.......Not to mention the game Black that is made EA when i saw the game running i thought i was looking at a an xbox360 game it looks that good!!!!!!!!

yah its gay that all these tight games are comin out on xbox and they wont work on the freakin 360!!!!! pisses me off. like the new poker games comin out on xbox, the 360 wont get them because poker games arent considered "nex gen" enough

Yes that sucks tried the emulator for Doom 3 and the framerate was horrible as well as the graphics!
