Your PC isn't seeing the Xbox on the network.
I'd say your wireless network isn't talking with your wired network.
Can you make the wireless device wired?
Oh, I gotta go home, I'm not gonna be back online till tomorrow.

I’ve been having problems since the new update.
Before I was able to stream music and pictures from the media tab and wmv videos etc...
Media center as well, but of course not the videos.
-------------------------------------------------------
Now with the new update that makes it play divx avi etc...
Nothing works in the media tab, no matter how many times I reconnect the dam thing. My PC shows up, but it says I have no media.
In Media Center , I can stream music and pictures no problem, I see all my movies but when I click on them, the whole Xbox just freezes and I have to power it down ( I’ve let it sit for 3h's with no results)
Now back in the media tab, if I put my avi videos on a USB key and plug it to my 360 directly, works like a charm!
Now I thought of getting an external HD to store my movies on, but this would kill the purpose of why I bought the console in the first place (as a Media center extender)
Anybody else have similar problems?
I’m running Vista Ultimate
PC wired to network
Xbox on wireless (and yes my wireless is set up properly, no problems getting to live)
My wireless signal for media center is one bar under HD-TV , I don’t mind waiting for it to buffer but like I said I left my box open 3h's and nothing happened the whole thing is just frozen, won't even let me go back in the dashboard.
I’m getting fed up and just about ready to throw it out the window. Please help!

i recently had to wipe my computer (got it all set up now tho) but im having trouble connecting my pc to xbox 360 (i hve done this previously without trouble) but now i cant get it to work. In media player i went to Library>Media Sharing. There is a box labelled share media but it is greyed out and un-clickable. Underneath this it says my pc is a public pc so sharing is disabled...? so i clicked on networking, and the network and sharing center didnt respond for about 2 mins, then i clicked on media sharing and chose to change it to on. But when i click change it doesnt change it, it just makes the media player icon on the task bar flash orange (because of activity) so i clicked 'Customize' and changed it to private and then i was able to check the box to allow sharing and then i changed the settings to allow the pc to automatically allow any device it finds to share media. My xbox is still hooked up to the network but its not appearing as a device that windows media player will share to. Does anyone know why windows media player won't recognize my xbox and why my xbox wont recognize my pc either? I didnt change anything on my 360 when i had to wipe my pc, all the cords r left how they were before

When you select the Video Source (press the blue button once in the Video/Media Tab) make sure all your movies are in the Media Player Library.
Even though they show up in Media Centre, they are indexed differentially by Media Player.

Go into the network and sharing center in the control panel (turn the control panel into Classic View - Selectable on the left)
You should have a pic of your network map (This Computer -> Network -> Internet)
Under that there should be a blue link that says "Customize" Click it.
In there you can switch from Public to Private network, which will change the way Windows and all your apps interact with the network.
