No idea, man. You might have to check out the Transcode360 site. I can help with the basic setup of the software, but with so many different types of videos available, the issue could be different to others. It sounds a lot like a missing codec, but I don't know how you look up which codec it needs. Those forums can help you.

Ugh. Was afraid you'd say that. Cheers.
Edit this thread as needed. Don't want to clutter it up.
Edit: Apparently aXXo files are the problem. Something in the codec doesn't work. No one can quite figure it out.

There are a couple of UPnP media servers out there which will stream video to the 360, but I'm not sure of the quality. They also won't transcode any non-supported filetypes like Treanscode and Tversity do, so you have to convert the file first.
Mike, try the following fix. It worked for me a few months back.
Change transcode360.config, you can find it in the directory you installed Transcode to. Open it in Notepad.
add key= 'ForceSafeResolution' value= 'no'
to
add key= 'ForceSafeResolution' value= 'yes'

Yeah, you'll need to restart, or at minimum, kill Transcode and restart that. It would be easier for you to just reboot. That would make sure it's all working!

Yeah, now it won't queue anything to transcode. It's not playing any files. Should I change it back or change the file type or what?

Hiya guys,
I'm using WMP11 on XP and I have a D-Link wired router, I used to be able to share files across from my PC to my 360 but then all of a sudden my 360 couldn't connect to my PC.
I've ran a connection test and the results were:
Network Adaptor Wired
IP Address Confirmed
PC Selected Failed
I have no clue whats going on and appreciate any help offerded

Have you tried deleting the partnership between the PC and 360 by doing Step 1 on my connection guide posts?
BTW: I know there's more to add to those guides. I'll get around to it eventually. Just wish I had a PC quick enough to stream properly so I can test it out!
