Need help!

Without, Media Centre but with using only WMP11 I can only stream them.
Is that right??

Sorry, both Media Center and WMP offer streaming only. The only way to copy songs onto the hard disk is to rip them from an audio CD.

I have an iMac G5 (all-in-one) which has lots of inlet ports at the back, one of which I'm pretty sure could be used for connecting such devices, but really have no idea how to do so, or if it's possible.
Some clarity would be greatly appreaciated and would save me buying a new telly!

It is possible, but I'm not a Mac user, so I can only give you very generic information.
On a PC, you need a video capture card to plug the 360 into. These usually come in the form of TV tuners, but can also be stand-alone. You then load up the bundled software to view and record whatever it is you've plugged into the capture card.

Can you give more information? Like which anti-virus and firewall software you're running?

Sorry dude, it would actually be cheaper to buy a 32" 720P LCD TV that it would to buy a HDTV tuner for your iMac!

Hmm.. Rather than turning off the firewalls, try opening up the ports required for Media Center. It seems strange that it will connect with one and not the other. It might be a case that it just stuffed up, which can happen. Try removing your PC from the Media Center entry on the 360 and give a new connection a go.

You will need to reconnect the PC from scratch, which means deleting the connection and going through the guide in this thread from step 1. See how you go then.

THIS is my EXACT issue. And from many other threads on many other 360 forums, this seems to be the general issue. If someone can PLEASE list ALL possible solutions for this issue, and -> YES <- i have read the instructions at the begining of this thread on how to set it up.

PC Selected Failed means that your 360 is configured to connect to a PC, but can't see it any more. Delete it from your Computers option in the settings blade and start again. Well, that's what it's meant whenever I've had it.

I'm experiencing the same problem, my PC can find the 360 but the 360 can't find the pc. I'm using WMP11 and I have shared my music and videos there.
Any ideas why this is happening?
My configuration is as follows:
Ethernet router, DLINK where both my PC and Xbox360 Elite is connected. No firewall on PC, only security software is Norton Antivirus.
My PC is running XP SP2.
The 360 can connect to XBox Live.
This is really starting to annoy me now so if anyone knows what to do that would be great!
