Why does it take such a long time to load a video on Xbox from the computer on Orb? Is their anything I can do to speed it up?

I have the same problem as deathbox exactly. I think it's because our routers aren't supported. But can I connect the 360 with my PC directly via an ethernet cable?

I have this same issue. I would say that 70% of the threads by people having issues connecting are this same issue yet it's almost impossible to get a direct answer for this direct issue.

We need a stiky pinned JUST for this issue.

ok, I'm failry drunk at the moment, but I'll offer what I can.

I haven't given a guide to Tversity, but I'd highly recommend it anyway. I should do up a guide soon, since it's simply the best file sharing software available. Better than Orb (no account reqired) and better than Media Player (will play any file type). So, install it, following their guide, and remember the following:

1. Disable any and all file sharing software you have. If you have Media Player then disable media sharing. Orb: Uninstall it. Zune: Get rid of it.
2. Reboot after installation. Even if it doesn't prompt you, reboot anyway.
3. Make sure mediaserver.exe is in Windows Firewall as an exception. By default, it's located in E:\Program Files\TVersity\Media Server.

Then connect to the Tversity server as if it was a standalone PC. It will be called <computername>:Tversity Media Server. From there, you can select your music.

Download from TVersity Home
